Wings: Warthog - An expression of my pride in my brother’s service to the US Air Force. The design is inspired by the Texas flag, where I live and where he trained, and named for my brother’s Air Force training squadron, nicknamed, “Warthogs.” A portion of the proceeds of the sales of this wrap will be donated to The Carrying On Project.
30″ Furoshiki Scarf
Wrapsody has carried the soft versatility of baby wraps to a new level — soft and versatile furoshiki-inspired scarves.
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used for covering and carrying everything from gifts to lunches. They can be tied into beautiful handbags or tied on as fashion scarves or head wraps.
This furoshiki scarf in the Stella colorway is made from the same soft, lightweight cotton jersey as our Hybrid wraps.
These furoshiki scarves are hand-dyed and hand-batiked using traditional techniques. The artists who create them work under fair trade conditions at a mother-owned company owned in Bali, Indonesia.
Suggested uses for your Stella furoshiki scarf:
- Carseat blanket or swaddling cloth
- Diaper bag
- Changing pad
- Gift wrap
- Fashion scarf
- Picnic wrapper and tablecloth
- Swimsuit cover
- Supermom cape
The uses for our furoshiki scarves are limited only by your own imagination!
Head Wrap: Cotton Jersey
These beautiful hair wraps match our Wrapsody Hybrid carriers. Made from the same soft cotton as the wraps, they provide the perfect comfortable accessory to your carrier.
These scarves have been worn by children as young as two (they’re a bit loose at that age) to adult. They have a great, stay-put design due to the elasticized bottoms, and can be scrunched or folded into a headband, spread like a kerchief, or tucked in like a do-rag.
